Welcome to my home page!

Hi! I am Hades. I am having my meowmie create my home page at my direction because my paws just aren't precise enough to hit those little lettered buttons on the computer. Who the heck thought to make those things that small anyway?? Not a fellow cat, obviously. My meowmie says you can check out some of her pages if you want, after you read mine of course.

I was adopted from Denver Dumb Friends League (an animal shelter here in the Denver metro area) on December 23rd, 1997, when I was just a little over a year old. That picture of me to the right was taken on the day my meowmie brought me home I am now a bit over 3 years old, and very handsome! My most recent picture is just below it. I am an orange tabby cat with some white patches on my toes, nose, and tummy, and I have very bright orange eyes. Oh! I also have six toes on each of my front two paws. I am a member of CLAW, a club on the internet for cats who rule! Here I am in my crown. Don't I look regal?? I also have graduated with a BCC (Bachelor of CLAW Catship) from CLAW University. My diploma is down at the bottom of the page ::beam::.

You're probably wondering where I got my name, and think its kind of weird for a cat. My meowmie likes all the gods from various times, and being winter when she got me and all, she thought that Hades, the god of the underworld, would be an interesting name. My bright orange, fiery eyes kinda fit the name as well. The name Denver Dumb Friends League had on record for me was Dennis. I don't think my meowmie liked that name much, and well.. I didn't either, to tell you the truth.

Another kitty named Persephone used to live here with me and my family, but my family could not handle her bathroom habits anymore. For some reason, she didn't like to use the litter box like I do. So my family took her Denver Dumb Friends League to help her join a family without another cat to bother her. I hope she gets along with her new humans! Here are some pictures of her and I when she was just a baby. She also has her own homepage, though it won't be updated anymore.
Sephie and I became really close. To the left is us curled up (Sephie at 15 weeks), and to the right, I am watching her at 8 weeks like a good brofur... See that little stick of a tail? Its all bushy now!
I have adjusted to my home quite well. I now roam all over the place freely. My favorite places are hanging perilously over the loft, or on top of the tall speaker next to the sliding glass door so I can look out at the furrrbidden place. Well, that's all I have to say for now. If you want to scrawl me a letter, my email address is hades@hue.org.--Hades
